LYDIA. Saitta. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Assarion (Orichalcum, 22 mm, 8.04 g, 6 h), Titianos, first archon, circa 161-175. IЄPA CYNKΛHTIC Draped bust of the Roman Senate to right. Rev. ЄΠΙ ΤΙΤΙΑΝΟY ΑΡΧ СΑΙΤΤΗΝΩΝ Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos over panther in his right hand and thyrsos in his left. RPC IV online 9961 (1 specimen, same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example and the only one in private hands. Very fine.
